At the heart of the hydraulic excavator is the improved DB58TIS engine. It has been coupled with the new E-POS™ (Electronic Power Optimizing System) electronic control system for optimum power and fuel saving.

The relief cut-off technology prevents the transfer of unnecessary flow to maintain a powerful work rate at the maximum value while reducing fuel consumption. The auto idle technology effectively controls the engine and prevents unnecessary fuel consumption while the engine is kept in standby mode. Furthermore, the optimized lever control technology effectively controls the pump to keep the power of the pump at the maximum and to prevent fuel consumption while the system is kept shut down.

The reliability of an item of plant contributes to its overall lifetime operating costs. We use computer-assisted design techniques, and develops highly durable materials and structures which it tests under extreme conditions. Durability and longevity are our top priorities.
